If We’re Late, It Could Mean "Free Freight." Coulson Oil Company and ChiefSeahawk Transport, LLC offers a “Free Freight” guarantee. Simply put, we will make fuel deliveries to dealer facilities on-time, when they need it and how they need it – or the delivery is free. A dealer’s customers depend on the store to have fuel when they need it and they rely on the dealer to have the quality grade they want for the vehicle. Customers should not have to settle for less – or go to a competitor’s store – because a dealer ran out of fuel. That’s the whole reason behind “Free Freight.” Both the company and the dealer have responsibilities for “Free Freight” to be claimed. Dealers must notify ChiefSeahawk of when fuel is needed or of any special circumstances that would call for an amount of product beyond typical usage. Coulson and ChiefSeahawk must be certain that the delivery can be made safely, in order to protect the dealer’s store, his customers, our drivers and the traveling public. If it is determined that it is unsafe to make the delivery due to inclement weather or other road conditions, deliveries may be postponed. Postponed deliveries may also be if product is not available at the terminal. In these instances, a freight charge will still apply because the situation is beyond the control of Coulson Oil or ChiefSeahawk.
