Question: Is Coulson Oil a well-established company? Answer: Ray Coulson, his wife Lois, co-worker Jim White and Walter Pennington began operation of Coulson Oil Company in 1969. We began with six dealer-operated service stations, and today provide gasoline and diesel fuels to approximately 200 independent operators.
We are known for our innovative approaches, such as combining a self-serve gas station with a food store, thereby creating the first “convenience store” in Arkansas. Coulson Oil’s reputation and business savvy also helped us become a distributor of three internationally-known fuel brands. And, our company is still led by the Coulson family, with son Mike as President.
Question: What do you mean by dealer-dedicated? Answer:First, it means that every program, every service, every effort made by Coulson is centered on the dealers, not itself. And it means a promise we give our dealers to be “Devoted to Excellence. Dedicated to Service.” We know dealers are our customers and we succeed when they succeed.
Devotion to excellence means dealers can count on everyone at Coulson Oil to strive for the highest levels of quality and service. That translates into quick responses to questions, providing the highest quality service and on-time delivery of fuel. Dedication to service means dealers can expect the company to go the extra mile to anticipate and meet dealers’ needs. Question: What values are most important to Coulson Oil?
